Objective
The main purpose of this trip is to observe the school compound surrounding and students’ activities in the school compound.

Brief about the field trip by Ms. Nadira, my subject lecturer for Professional Practice. Some discussion were conducted also. Today’s class attendance full, what a surprise. Preparing methods used for field trip.

Went to toilet. Saw Mr. Tham was peeing at first urinal from the right, as usual with his evil smile.

Get ready and depart from Graphic Studio 2 to school library.

On the way to basketball court which is my first destination passing by the Block A. A lot of students can be seen around the Block A where we couldn’t see that amount of students in Block B. Greet by friends on the way to the first destination.

Arrived at basketball courts. Find a strategic place and finally settled down under a small tree. Start to observe around. Jot down all the details while listening some techno songs. While busy taking pictures, an international student with green and white strips walking pass by the basketball courts.

A group of international students were talking very loud at the Block A1 second floor. There are three of them. One of them wearing red shirt, another one wearing black shirt and the last one wearing red & blue strips shirt.

Move to the next destination. The weather is pretty hot and I sweating like a swine. While on the way, I saw a student wearing red shirt talking with phone on the way to his red Kembara at the car park.

While droping down the details, met Esther on the way to school lobby. Meanwhile, saw a China hot chick at block A3 area at ground floor. She was wearing black jeans with a white shirt.

Reached school lobby. Crowded with students and school staff too. Financial department counter can be seen with students queuing busy paying school fees. Was sitting nearby the HR Department main door. Realized there’s a big inkjet poster beside the main door. Overall the design is ok but when looked at the photos, I can see everybody’s face in the big poster were oily.

Was snapping some pictures in the school lobby but get screw by some international students who thought I snapping some of their ‘handsome’ pictures.

Move up to the Educator Facilitator Department. Base on my observation, I felt that it’s a big waste. It should be something like a lounge for student chilling around but not some boring and empty office room full with telephones.

Walk to cafeteria to observe and also for lunch. I was informed by the owner of the oriental cafeteria that they will end the cafeteria business and let other to continue the cafeteria business.

Final outcome
The overall of the outcome is students will be able to analyze the environment surrounding and make conclusion. Besides, students are also able to learn to jot down data in word form base on their observation.
Influences to designers / to design trends in the industry
Designers are very sensitive usually. They will act into different mood depending on different influence of surrounding environment.
Based on my observation over the whole school compound, I feel that the school is lack of entertainment; it looks too formal and unbalance. For example school have can a lounge or coffee shop in school compound where students can chill around. I can see that a lot of students seems boring in this school. Some of them are regret to be in this school.
